Millaray has an official baptismal date and she’s been to church 2 times. We’re aiming for the 22nd of July because we can and she’s met with our district leader and her mom signed the papers for him on Saturday so the ball is rolling. First baptism here we come. Now we just need to work on getting more youth there to create a sort of support group cuz if you have a bunch of kids who can be friends you have a pretty solid branch. That’s our goal.
Hna. Anderson is the new missionary of the house now. I got to admit I don’t mind not being the baby, and Hna. Anderson is pretty awesome she’s not too baby like herself. Sorry that didn’t make a lot of sense but my English is getting worse. Not sure why because we’re a house of gringas and we definitely speak English more than we should. So Santa Juana currently has 4 gringa sisters within its boundaries and I’m not sure they can handle it, but ready or not here we come.
This week I’ve been learning the importance of patience. It’s definitely a hard thing for me. As you all know I have a terrible temper, and sometimes stupid little things bug me a lot. Sometimes it’s my companion, who´s amazing, or my Santa Juana brothers and sisters, who are simply ignorant to the fact that they need this message, but I just get overly focused on that and the anger builds up until it boils over. Hna. Clark is flipping awesome and she notices when I get upset so she makes me vent and helps me get over it. It’s really nice to have a companion who’s that aware and honestly patient. I realized though that there are things that I can do to keep the anger from boiling over. When I’m happier the little things don’t bug me so I’ve been working on making myself more happy by eating good breakfasts and keeping my room clean and stuff. God has helped me out as well. I like to have brainstorming sessions sometimes for my personal prayer because God communicates with us through the Holy Ghost through thoughts impressions and feelings. So why not ask for help yeah? It’s actually kind of cool, and he knows better than I do how my mind works so I’ve discovered some new things about myself this week.
Sorry guys I don’t have a whole lot to talk about this week but I love you all and keep doing your best because where we’re headed after this life makes it all worth it or as we say here in Chile “Vale La Pena.”
