so much has happened
It was a really good week. I’m super tired and I just spent a good chunk of my email time chatting with Hna Schwartz about people in Valencia and Mesa Grande. It will be nice to be able to keep in touch with recent converts better at home.
crazy successful week
So, I tried really hard to write a good email last week. I brought my journal with me and it helped me to remember better what had happened during the week, and I brought it again today but I left it in the car. Turns out my journal doesn’t help me at all when it’s in the car. So, I guess you’ll just get the random bits I can remember. Continue reading “crazy successful week”
the secret to being skinny
Hey Fam Bam
I got a letter from Hna Falcon the other day. She told me that Dad had contacted her about the trip and she wants me to reassure you that it wouldn’t be a problem for us to stay at their house. She also talked about tacos al pastor, and sprinting to the finish.
We’ve definitely seen an upturn this week. Continue reading “the secret to being skinny”
stuck in the same old ideas
What’s the funniest thing that has happened lately?
Well last night our investigator Augustin (he’s the one who miraculously showed up to church last week) asked me and my ‘amiga’ out to dinner. It was pretty funny but I’m actually pretty stressed out about it. Augustin has meet with us about three times this week, and he’s always willing to go to whatever we invite him to. He doesn’t know how to read but he just started listening to the Book of Mormon on CD yesterday, and he loves it, or so we hope…. Hopefully it’s not that he just loves 20 something American girls.

Dying Dying Dying
Well, I don’t know what to say about this week. I have a ton of pictures I need to load but some how I ended up here without my camera and cord. Seriously, I’ve had the bag with my camera and stuff out for like 2 days already, because I’ve been planning on taking care of picture stuff.
Merry Christmas II
Well, a whole stinking lot has happened but I probably won’t tell you about most of it until tomorrow. Mostly Hna Watkins was transferred to the escondido branch and Hna Cottrell came to be my companion. We had to switch houses, because she’s pretty much allergic to everything, and couldn’t live with all the animals at the Pratt’s house. Hna Watkins and I took a bunch of silly photos/ did a bunch of silly things right before she left. I think the past three transfers where I was with Hna Noble and then Hna Watkins are probably the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. Transfers was a little hard on me, just because I hate moving and change is always hard. I’m excited for Christmas and I think I’m going to buy a pair of jeans today 😮 Continue reading “Merry Christmas II”
Facebook Stalking
How many transfers are left for both of you? I think Rachel said she was on her last transfer, but that would be almost 8 weeks. Is that right?
I’m going to start my last transfer on Wednesday. It will be 7 weeks long, and I’m getting a new companion. Hna Cottrell. She’s from Utah, and was also trained by Hna Fors. It’s interesting because she’s coming to my area but she’s already served here before.

13.5 hours
Well way to stink it up family, and not even email me. This email is probably going to be a little short because the Elders are huddled around trying to talk to us. I am not going to miss Elders let me tell you what. Anyways, I know I’m the worst email writer ever, but I for reals have no idea what happened this week. Continue reading “13.5 hours”
Zebra Companionships
Life has been pretty good most of our time is spent working at the visitor center for Christmas lights. There were a couple of nights where we didn’t have very many people come which was a little bit frustrating. During Christmas lights we’re always in Zebra companionship’s so, you’re never with your real companion, and there’s always at least one person that speaks Spanish in every companionship. One of the slow nights I was with Sis Mackenzie from Kenya. We got permission from the senior couple to go look around the grounds. It was really neat, because even though it’s my second Christmas here I’ve never really been able to walk around and see the lights and big out door nativities. Last year they did leave the lights on late the last night so we could go out and see them, but it wasn’t the same when I was dead tired and there were only other sister missionaries around.
