34 hours on the train.

Yeah.  That was definitely an event.

I got really peeved when people kept passing by our seats/beds and pulling back the curtains we’d closed.  One time this guy lifted the curtain up and was looking in and I said (in my head) “Oh, no, you didn’t!” and pulled the curtain out of his hand.

Influenza

The Beautiful world-

So, I have never had a sick day on my mission…. until now! Tuesday AKA my last day in Moses Lake, Hermana Larson scratched her cornea because she  freaked out about dropping an eyelash in her eye. She also can’t just sit with one eye closed, she has to close both of them. So I was leading her around like a blind person, until it wasn’t bearable and we went home. Then I got her to Umatilla and my new comp  Hermana Jackson has the flu.
It’s been crazy and I’ll tell you right now there is not a whole lot  you can do to entertain yourself as a missionary. So I have gotten to know my companion really well. The bright side is she is LEGIT. We are havin’ a blast. Continue reading “Influenza”
