Here am I send me

Hola mi familia,
This week.. woooo eee. I don’t even remember anything before Sunday, so I suppose we should begin there. Sunday was the last day for Elder Warner (from London)  in our district and he has been in New York ever since Monday. It’s crazy that he is already in the field. It was an emotional day for the district because one it was Sunday, two it marked the beginning of our last week, and three Elder Warner was leaving. However we became spiritually edified like you wouldn’t believe. We had an incredible district meeting where everyone shared their experiences with faith. For our Sunday night video we watched a talk from Elder Holland, I swear nobody is able to get me more excited about the gospel than that man. He has more passion in his little pinky finger then most people have in their entire being. I listened to him and I was so pumped and ready to tell every single person I have ever seen about the gospel. Then one of my sweet new sisters came in as we were about to leave for the night, sobbing, and in need of a blessing, the Elders luckily hadn’t gotten far and were able to give her a blessing of comfort and she was doing much better.

a fillion investigators

Ok… that took so long I don’t know if I’m going to be able to send more than one… but I figured I’d send some pictures so I don’t have to write since pictures count for a thousand or two thousand words or something like that–I figure you guys wouldn’t want to read two thousand words from me so a couple pictures must be good… plus this comp is uber slow and I just spent forever sending for refunds so my poor comp doesn’t starve in March…

V-day P-day

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! I want you all to know that in celebration I am wearing my pink skirt.
Yesterday we got a new district with twelve people six of them being Hermanas! crazy. Also you’ll never guess who is in the district. Good old Matt King. I’m pretty excited about it, he is going to Lubbock Texas. The Hermanas seem pretty great, so I’m very excited to have them. Yesterday I did what is called “coaching” with one of my teachers. It was the first time I’ve done it since being in the MTC, and I wasn’t scheduled, but I just started asking him questions, because I had a few things I really needed to talk with someone about, outside of my companion. So we had a really uplifting “coaching session” and I think that I have gotten a few things figured out of what to do better with my companionship and teaching. I’m really looking forward to that. Then during comp study Hermana Williams and I set some good goals and had a nice heart to heart about improving. Then the best thing was because I was in meetings and different things all day I didn’t prepare anything for the TRC, but she did, so we practiced  doing the TRC together a few times, and for the first time since getting to the MTC our lesson was almost equally split up. I was very excited about it.

a really long prayer

Well, it’s been an eventful week, I must say.  Sister Olga is driving me nuts.  She insists that she “doesn’t have time” for us to visit during the week–and yeah–she’s super, super, busy, but REALLY?  We only need to visit seguido for like a couple weeks and you can get baptized, jeez.  Sometimes people think we must have nothing better to do than visit them–but the truth is–missionaries are the busiest people in the world.
