Liven la Vida Loca

Holahola!

This week was not the most exciting, but I have a few things to tell you guys about. Friday of the last week I think, I don’t remember for sure, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t tell you guys about it, we had a mission activity for the whole branch, and we invited everybody to bring a food with an ingredient from the earth. We then had a competition with judges who decided which was the best, but here comes the best (spiritual) part.

Week 3 (the end is nigh)

Hola,

so I leave for the mission on Monday. My flight leaves at 7 pm and it´s 8 hours long, then when we arrive we wait 4 hours and have another 1 and a half hour flight to get us down to our mission. So we´ll arrive early in the morning on Tuesday. Hopefully we can sleep, but I don´t know if that will happen, because my sweet companion doesn´t sleep well on planes and I don´t want to leave her awake and lonesome.

CCM de Mexico

My flight here was kind of lonesome. I was the only sister missionary and I sat next to a sweet old guy who I said like 1 word to in the whole flight. Afterwards I got some help from some mormon sisters who were visiting one of their parents who are serving here in Mexico. I got through the airport pretty easily, til the end where I didn´t find the MTC driver right away. Continue reading “CCM de Mexico”

La conferencia en general

Everybody-

First things first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT!! you are a big 14 yr old now! oish.

As you all know the last two days were conference. Wasn’t that just joyous?  The cool things about conference that don’t have anything to do with amazing talks:

  • My old mission President, President Greer became an area 70. !!!!! WOW
  • They sang “Lead Kindly Light,” “A Child’s Prayer,” aand “I Stand all Amazed.” So they had very good song selection.
  • My choir director from the MTC was the one directing the Orem institute choir.
  • Whenever you watch conference you just feel so connected to the glorious world of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
