The “one”

Sweet family-
Well it was interesting to hear about what happened with James last week. Way to be a noob and not go to the doctor until you appendix had ruptured. But thanks for the letter maybe I’ll write you all letters this week or next week.
So things have been interesting. I wasn’t feel up to life for a couple days… but then I worked really hard to get over it, and then life turned around. So we went to zone conference which was pretty enjoyable and we are now doing member lessons as a key indicator.
We, as a companionship, printed off Elder Ballards quote from conference about the “one.”

“We are not asking everyone to do everything. We are simply asking all members to pray, knowing that if every member, young and old, will reach out to just “one” between now and Christmas, millions will feel the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. And what a wonderful gift to the Savior.”-Elder Ballard Continue reading “The “one””

“doubt your doubts.”

I literally have nothing to write about. This week warden smelled worse than ever. Every day it smells more like vomit and more like poop. Sorry for saying dirty words. 🙂 I am kind of getting used to it though. Maybe by the time I leave I will miss the smell of warden. HAHA PSYCH. That’s not going to happen. I’m sure I’ll miss a lot of things but that putrid smell isn’t one of them.

constantly

Hi family-
Well we had temple pday. Hence why this is coming on Wednesday. One week ago I got my new comp, Hermana Porter she is from Mesa Arizona, and came straight out of the Mexico MTC. She is a cool little thing (I say little because she is only 5’1″) She’s nineteen years old and hasn’t lived away from home yet. Her Spanish is limited, but that luck was bound to come to a close, so I’ve been giving her the awkward stares and coughs in Spanish lessons to get her to talk.  So that’s been fun! I’m in Warden, as I believe I told you last week.
