I didn’t receive many photos, so I won’t send many photos either. (It’s probably not because I forgot to take them again) Patience is a virtue Jaja 😀
Calerbe is super amazing! He told his friend about the lessons he was receiving and brought him to church a couple of weeks ago. Then yesterday Donald (The friend) showed up to church all alone. (Calerbe was super tired from his work so he didn’t make it this week.)Â But we taught a lesson to Donald Saturday night and he really does seem to be a golden investigator.
Sister Ellis is a super amazing companion! I’m honestly really bad about contacting because it’s usually super awkward and the people reject you the majority of the time, but it’s also a very necessary thing. Sister Ellis is amazing at contacting and she’s helping me to get better at it too. She sees a person feels like she needs to talk to, and she does it. She’s also really legit with scissors. Jaja! That sounds a little weird, but she’s a professional hairstylist. She worked at Sport Clips before the mission and she cut the hair of the son of a less active member and it was super good. Anywho I think I might need to ask my mom to teach me how to cut hair when I get home cuz it’s a useful skill.
At the moment my favorite food is dessert in general. I explain to all of my companions that I have a supernatural gift when it comes to desserts cuz I can be overstuffed with real food and still be able to eat more dessert than everybody else. As far as it goes with cooking, I still kind of suck at it, but I feel more comfortable experimenting and I’m getting pretty professional when it comes to eggs. 😀 #Skills
So Patience really is a Christlike virtue. It’s important in pretty much any situation in life and it tends to go hand in hand with humility. I really do believe that Christ is capable of helping us to develop attributes like those that he has as long as we use his atonement. I also honestly think that Patience is a very admirable trait.
