So, this week I will hit the one year mark. Crazy, isn’t it? Yeah, my personal grooming standards, that weren’t very high to begin with, have lowered even further while being on a mission. My hair hasn’t been cut in over 4 transfers, but I’m going to try to get it done today… we’ll see. It also means it’s been a year since I… did lots of things.

I’M GETTING TRANSFERED!
Which means I will no longer be living with them.
I’m going to be with Hna Noble in Liahona I which means I’m going back to where all the Spanish speakers live. What! Up! Not to mention Hna Noble is equally as socially awkward as I am. So, it’s going to be hilarious. She’s only been out 3 transfers, and she’s from somewhere in the Midwestern United States, and that’s about all I know about her.
The other exciting news is that my old investigator from Mesgrande, David, is back in the States! We went to a baptism in Mesagrande for one of the people Hna Schwartz taught before, and they walked in. Oh, I was so excited. I hope they get baptized soon.
I was also able to see Ana at the mission president’s fireside last night, and Santiago spoke 🙂 Luis and Carmen came, of course, and it ended up that 4 of the people I’ve helped baptize were at the same place. Oh little glimpses of heaven.
Anyways, I feel like most of what has happened since the last time I emailed you is the above mentioned things and planning for the next week. So… that’s all folks!
Love you! Don’t forget about my birthday!
Questions:
What is the hottest day you’ve had so far in Arizona? I’m not sure due to my lack of connection with the media, but a bank I drive past has said 120 before. Yeah, it’s so hot the catus are dying.
What is your favorite food? Still pizza. My favorite Mexican food is gorditas or sopas – it has like 10 different names and everyone makes them differently, but they’re good every time.
Speaking of pizza our district leader took us all out for pizza the other day. He goes home tomorrow, well, his mom comes and then they hang out for a few days, then he goes home. Anyways, he wanted to share his ‘culture’ with us, he’s from New Jersey, so we ate New York style pizza. Probably one of the best days of my life especially because dinner was spaghetti.
