Well it was a really great week. We passed 20 lessons again, and beat almost all of our goals. We even had 4 investigators at church even though it was Stake Conference which was a huge miracle. I’m feeling really frantic at the moment so, I’m just going to go through the whole week and list some things that happened.
Monday, regular pday we visited Hna Schwartz and Weber and ordered some fancy pizza
Tuesday, we dropped Hector because he decided to not be a miracle again aka have his siblings lie and say he was sick but instead they told us the truth
Wednesday, probably stank because Thursday was stinking awesome
Thursday, There was the farewell meeting at the VC for me, Hna Sordes, and Sis Mackenzie. The spirit was there really powerfully and was probably one of the best meetings I’ve been to on my mission. Plus it was like going to your own eulogy which claro que si makes you feel important.
Then we had district meeting where I did a training on one minute lessons which is one of my favorite things to practice. AKA Hannah read the section in PMG on Find when you Teach and Teach when you Find, and do it. It will change your mission.
Then we only had 4 hours in our area, and we taught 8 LESSONS! MIRACLE.
Friday, I packed while Hna Cottrell did our weekly planning. We did splits that night and it was sort of crazy, but I was able to go see goodbye to Dulce and Pascual.
Saturday, I had my departure interview with President Ellsworth. Agustin took us out for dinner at the China Buffet. We had some good lessons.
Sunday, We had stake conference and even though it was a huge pain in the butt we got a few investigators to a special early morning meeting. Then it was sort of just year book day. We ate carne asada for lunch. Did some visits. Ate dinner at the ward mission leaders house and then worked at the VC.
The Sierra family came to see me off. They brought me a present and I set a baptismal date with Oswaldo for April 🙂
Alright, I love you all. Sorry for Hannah and Bekah that it’s kind of a short email, but I’m gonna see everyone else tomorrow.
Loove,
Rachel
