Day two Mexico City

Alé Falcon (one of Rachels comps) lives in Mexico City. Her father met us at the airport. He took us to a roadside cafe where we could order Tacos al Pastor. They were delicious. Alé met us at the restaurant and then took us around the city. We saw the castle where a former president lived. We also took a tour of a museum. Finally we went to our hotel. It was much smaller than I expected, but we had no trouble falling asleep, because we were so tired from the trip.

The traffic in Mexico City is crazy, and the drivers are worse than they are in Costa Rica (which is saying a lot). After Karen and I retired to our room, the kids did some more sight seeing in the city near our hotel.
