Hey fam,
OK Matt that subject name was definitely in honor of you. That Julian Smith song has been going through my head for the last couple of days because we got a golden investigator named.. Randy. Ya so I’m a way big creep thanks to you Matt man.
This week was wooow. Something really really creepy happened. And unfortunately my mission president being a man decided not to take it as being a big deal, buuut fortunately we then talked to his wife and she gave us the proper reaction of disgust. Sometimes ya just gotta talk to a woman. Unfortunately it’s still a man’s mission for a while. I’m excited to roll in more sisters.
I’m a really big fan of my companion. She’s going through lots right now, as is common in the mission. But she is way cool despite it all. The only thing is sometimes we distract each other from study time and we aren’t the best at keeping good schedule. Which is dumb because I LOVE the commandments, but really.
Carmen’s husband is OUT of the the picture. He tried to choke her out so she called the police and needless to say, he’s out. It was a really hard situation for her, but she knows and we know that it is going to be for the best. He really wasn’t elect.
Our car looks like it has been through infierno and back. Tons of bird poo, mud, pee, and who knows what else coating it. We are going to run it through the car wash after this.
We found this field of poppies. It was gorgeous and wonderful. Then we found out what it was for… Opium. Who knew? Poppies are still beautiful.
I think the new love of my life is Alma Chapter five.
That’s all, I forgot your letters so I don’t know if ya had questions. Thank you for the letters by the way. They came at a very very needed time.
Love you all,
Hermana Holladay
