An Effectual Struggle

So it’s a short transfer and turns out I am safely in the Basin for two more months, and officially in the WKM. Yeehaw.
Never thought I’d be such a farm girl that our AC doesn’t work because there is a dead mouse inside. But man at the end of these six months I’ll just be walking around with wheat sticking out of my mouth.

The baptism went through, which was great! she looks great and I’ll send photos either in a  bit today, or later next week. We are praying that everything goes through with Carmen, she has been such a miracle to me in my life, and I just want the best for her. Also Randy is making progress like crazy, he told us yesterday that the things that concerned him at first he doesn’t even have a desire to do anymore. It’s amazing what great fellowshippers can do. I wish we had more supportive members. They do such a great job.

I enjoyed getting letters from all of you. Thanks Matt for the first letter from you. Even if it was four sentences long and completely random. I enjoyed it. Sounds like everyone is doing well. AND RACHEL USU IS THE GREATEST. you’ll like it, I know. James I don’t know about the U. But i’m sure that’ll be fun too. I’m excited to hear Elly’s flute when I get home.

How are you doing clothing wise? Better! I think now it’s doable. I did get the chance to look for a new skirt as we waited for the man to get the dead mouse out of the AC at the toyota dealership. No such luck.

How are you feeling health wise? Physically and emotionally? I’m pretty Healthy. A little bit heavier than I want to be, which makes me feel kind of slow, but pretty good all in all.

How did the baptism go on Saturday? It went really well. She also talked to Carmen about her fears about getting baptized and told her how much better she feels now 🙂

Who (besides you and your companion) do you need us to remember in our prayers? There is a guy named Steven who is working as a member present with Randy, and he is trying to quit smoking. He broke down in tears, and he really really wants to Change. Both Carmen and Randy, and Maria and Samuel. Especially if you could pray for Noe to have the faith to be baptized that would be amazing. And then our investigators in general.

Love you all lots and lots,
Hermana Holladay
