Another one bites the dust

Holladays,

Well once again I’m going to have to ask a big favor. (I’m starting to feel pretty spoiled, my bad). They told me this week that canvas shoes are against the rules and to look it up in the dress and grooming guidelines, which I did, and I’m not seeing anything about it. Anyways, if you would send me a simple pair of flats, like brown or nude or navy, or something… That would be awesome. I don’t know, I’m trying to comply with all the “rules”. Eh.. I’m kind of upset about this, and since President is the greatest and super understanding, I don’t think I will have to completely lose the TOMS, but we will see.

This week was rough.. It’s been kind of a rough month to be honest, but still good things are always happening. Lemme tell you the big miracle for the night. Well, we have basically dropped all the mangsters, except for one named Carlos, but we don’t actually have a way to get in contact with him, we just have to run into him, and then he will come meet us at the church with a member. Anyways, we hadn’t seen him for two weeks and we were kind of just losing hope on that. Well Saturday night came around and we had exhausted any thing we could possibly do, so then I was like, “THAT’S IT, we are finding Carlos.” so I turned down by the trailers and turned left, and there we had a little figure walking towards  us. Hermana Croft was like “THAT’S TOTALLY HIM.” and so then we got to talk with him and he said he wants to be baptized six times just to make sure he his covered.

In other news: somebody had a heart attack in the middle of Sacrament meeting yesterday. Yep, everyone was walking in and out, and the choir got interrupted by brother Cox asking if anyone had nitrate or aspirin. Then I had the blessing of saying the closing prayer after all the commotion. We don’t know how he is doing… I hope he is ok.

Maybe it was a blessing we didn’t have any investigators at church this time around.

We also went to a trainer/ trainee meeting and I got to see my first child Hermana Robison, I’m going to attach a family photo. Things were rough for her for a while, I feel bad. But on the bright side it was super fun to see her, and I think President Ware is the greatest person in the whole world. He helps everyone to feel super good about themselves, and he is so funny, so I just really appreciate that guy.

Have you got the package I had sent to the mission home with your personal items?

I Got my Gs. And yes I did have to pay 8.50 to get it.. That is some expensive underwear.
Is the pond really a poop pond (sewage treatment pond) or is it just a murky sludge filled bog?
Well… it’s potato poop.
What do people do to make a living there?  I’m guessing much of what they do is farming.  If so, what crops do they grow?
Yep… They grow anything that smells nasty. Like onions, potatoes, probably garlic. yeup.
Matt’s only question is “How have you been?”  That’s what I get for asking him if he has a question for you.
I’ve been good. At least alright! You make me laugh matt.. miss you too.

LOVE,
hermana Holladay
PS jk about the photo.. once again my computer hates me.
