So we got a slightly rocky start this first week. We don’t really have many investigators. If I understood right we’ve got about 3 investigators and the new investigator that we found last week and now 2 more that we found yesterday. Then there’s about 4 new investigators that we haven’t had contact with after their first lessons so we’ll see if we can get things going. Luckily I think we’re starting to get a rhythm and learning more about the sector so I think we’ll be making some good progress. I’ve already gotten to know quite a few of the members and they seem really great! There are a bunch of recent converts and they and the active members from before have already given us a few references so it seems like the obra has a good support system here in Cabrero! I’m excited to see some progress over the next few weeks, especially because the new investigators that we’ve found really do seem golden. Our investigators that I have met are Bernardita and her daughter Katalina, Veronica, Ines and her husband Humberto, and Eugenia.
Questions:
How long has Sister Bechthold been out? Hna. Bechthold has about 6 months in the mission.
Cabrero
Branch or ward in Cabrero? Cabrero is a branch with an extra pueblito called Monte aguila that also attends their chapel.
Apartment shared with other missionaries or just you and Sister Bechthold or home with members? Our house is with another companionship that works here in Cabrero (Hna. Morante my old companion and her trainee)
Where is your companion from? She’s from Texas
Biggest challenge you can see facing this new area? I’d say that our biggest challenge is that we don’t have many investigators and neither of us know our way around the area.
Strongest aspect of the ward or branch? The members seem really good at fellowshipping and giving referrals.
Sorry for the shortness of this letter but I’ll send something more substantial next week. Love yall!
