Seasons Greetings-
Well, This week was unbelievably slow. I think everyone fled from Warden for the week/ there was a text going around not to answer their doors no matter what! haha we had a nice struggle trying not to die of boredom. On the bright side it wasn’t nearly as cold this week. 🙂
The Gift of Tongues, -25degrees, and hullabaloo
Everybody-
So to quickly explain the title of my email. We had an experience yesterday with someone from the Pentecostal Church and the lesson went on pretty well until we asked her to say the prayer. She decided to delight us with the “gift of tongues.” It went on for AT LEAST ten minutes. Sister Roylance and Hermana Porter were both trying not to laugh, I was just plum annoyed by it. Then she started clapping her hands and swaying and then I saw the humor in it.
This week on Friday with the wind chill the temp was -25. I have never wanted to be dead so much on my mission before. I had hives everywhere! BUT it’s much betta now.
Hullabaloo is a word I found in the dictionary and found it humorous.
We hunted them like lions
Hi there-Well I’ll have to say that this week flew by! not only the week but the whole month of November kind of just decided not to exist this year. October straight into December.
We taught seminary this week, and as it turns out none of the sr. boys are planning on going on missions. What’s up with that?? We taught about Jarom and Omni, so it was pretty eventful as you may imagine.

Loved ones-
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I’m grateful for you!
Today we went to Moses Lake so that Hermana Porter could buy a coat. The exciting news is they had a Staples so I was able to get my G2 Pilot pens in all the fun colors. There we had the highlight of my Pday we met a Mormon about to go on a mission to Mexico and he took 2 dollars off my pen purchase. It was just so darn nice. 🙂

“Don’t cough on me! I think you have rabies!”-tito
Well let’s just go through the week.
Monday- We taught such a good lesson. It was with Maria who I have ish taught here and there. The first time I met her she said, “I have been talking to missionaries for 30 yrs there is nothing you can tell me that I don’t already know.” So anyways she was telling us on Monday that her son is making bad decision, and he knows better. Well Hmmmm Maria, that sounds a little bit familiar, kind of like how our heavenly father feels about you every day! And then we pounded her with the spirit and said, “Maria, you know. Your Heavenly Father knows that you know, and what are you doing about it?” Then in her prayer she committed to ask for time off so she can come to church and to read the book of Mormon. It was awesome.
one by one
E’rybody-
Once again I feel like I have nothing to say. We had our Halloween party this week on Wednesday. That was really good, lots of investigators and less active members came to it. I really enjoyed it. Although you have to run around like a chicken with your head cut off trying to make people have friends and feel comfortable. Also I ate some good bread.

Elder Ballard
Hi my Sweet Family-
Well another week. Lemme tell you, things are going. I want to take a moment and thank all those of you who wrote me and James for sending me that CD. I’m getting good use out of it. Thanks mom for accepting the challenge, and also for giving us one. We are working on it.
