My dearest family-
I’m freaking out!!! I got an email from Sawyer, but not from Rachel. I guess they’re getting married. GOOD!! I got so excited I jumped out of my chair and did a spastic victory dance in the library… needless to say I got a lot of weird looks, but I’m SO excited!! CONGRATULATIONS!!

Lindsey got engaged too?? I haven’t seen pictures or heard a thing from her. Tell her that better change. I don’t have her email…congrats!

Oh Bek welcome back from India and Turkey! I suspect you had a great time, and I’ll hear all about it one day.

This all is MUCH more exciting than the things that I had to tell you.. because mostly they’re super depressing. Luis was supposed to get baptized this weekend, right?
the day of his interview came and we went up to the church and waited… and waited… and went down to his house and no one was there so we went back to the church, and waited some more. We gave up and left like three messages on his phone. We found him Saturdaynight where he told us he had a family emergency and would be leaving to mexico the next day. We tried to get everything worked out to just baptize the man before he left, but he said he simply just didn’t feel up to the interview.
He says he plans to get in contact with the missionaries in Mexico.. and go to church and get baptized there.. I’m very nervous for him. I already sent the referral through mormon.org to mexico, so the missionaries there better get in touch with him. I was really upsetSaturday night, and didn’t get much sleep at all.. I know he is in the lord’s hands. Satan won the battle, but he didn’t win the war.
we found some new investigators this week and tracted a TON. we were determined to get the right amount of OYMS. and we are happy to say we exceeded the goal by one.
Hermana Correa did a beautiful rendition of “Lean on Me” last night and I think you would all just need to hear it to really understand it’s brilliance. I have never seen more talent in completely missing every single note to a song and changing the entire tempo. hahaha the great thing about hermana Correa is she keeps me laughing.
Lots of crazy things happened this week, and I wont go into too much detail, but honestly it wasn’t so bad. We are happy. and I’m so happy for all of you! it sounds like things are going great.
