Hey family,
well I see all of your emails, and well, I have kind of a ton sitting in there so I decided I would start out by writing you as a whole just to make sure it happens. I will try to reply back to them all individually, but like I said there’s a lot, and not a lot of time.
This week I had my first exchanged with Hermana Kidd, I went to Kennewick. Basically we OYMed everyone. That was really cool, because here in the Basin there just aren’t many people to OYM. Every single appointment they had set up fell through so we didn’t get to teach any lessons together, which was too bad, I was really looking forward to it. It was really fun to be with a different sister and get to talk about the work, because Hermana Ramos has all the same experiences I do.. haha so I can’t really tell her stories.
We also had GENERAL CONFERENCE. oh how that is sweet sweet music to my ears. We got three investigators there so it was about a ten percent success rate from the 30 I invited. but it was great because there were messages that I was SO happy those three were there to hear. Oh by the way it was Maria and Samuel (the ones I choose to tell you about from the beginning) and Carmen (the one who is afraid of water). I just really enjoyed being spiritually fed! I LOVE conference.
mmmm Well yesterday we got the calls about who was going to be exchanged. I was just joking around and Saturday night I just started saying, “Man I’m really going to miss them.” “Oh, I’m really going to miss you.” and then Hermana Ramos was like, “Is there something you know that I don’t know??” haha no… I’m still in the Basin with sister Ramos of course.
So you’ll never guess what happened to me today. We got to Pasco and we had a zone lunch or whatever, then we went to email, Although I couldn’t find my purse. Turns out, I had left it back at the car wash (we assumed where I was vacuuming) So I got very very stressed out that it would be long gone. However we get there and it had been turned in. Only problem, It was IN the car wash. Only me… Lucky I didn’t put my scriptures or anything in it today.
Then we went and got froyo to make ourselves feel better, and the guy working there started asking us who we were and said he’d go to mormon.org. We decided our new Pday destination would be myfroyo. OH YA
Shout out to MATTHEW!! I’m super sorry I didn’t send you a birthday card buddy! I still love you! I’ll make a comic or something for ya real soon. Hope your day was amazing. Love ya.
