You’ll all be happy to know that we found Bek a husband. You’re welcome 🙂
You’ll be happy to know the jalapeno cheesy bread is back at subway.
You’ll also be happy to know that I have very little to say.
Alrighty, update on the investigators:
- Naomi- Gospel wise not doing anything, although she trusts the mormons for everything and periodically calls us
and asks us where we have been and why we haven’t been stopping by. - Rosa- we met her husband… and he sure loves the sound of his own voice. and he doesn’t understand anything.
It was a battle to keep the spirit there.. but to end he told us he agreed with everything we said….. UUHH so
we explained, if you agree with everything it means that this is the true church, no other church has authority,
and to stay in another church wouldn’t be ok. Then he said he would “try” to read the BoM. It’s just sad,
because we know that Rosa believes, but she’s afraid of her husband. - Juan- The only contact we have had is over text messages and he refers to me as “amiga Holladay.” A lot better
than some other things I’ve been called. - Amailia- New investigator we met last monday. She seems AWESOME. She has family members who are members of the
church, and she just seems to really eat things up. We are having our third lesson with her tonight with Brother
Lougee (WML) and his wife.
Two things that are different about me since being a missionary:
- Apparently my hair gets blonder and blonder all the time. (no that’s not a joke about me being dumb).
- I drive the car every single day, and it doesn’t even bother me too much anymore.
