Well, a whole stinking lot has happened but I probably won’t tell you about most of it until tomorrow. Mostly Hna Watkins was transferred to the escondido branch and Hna Cottrell came to be my companion. We had to switch houses, because she’s pretty much allergic to everything, and couldn’t live with all the animals at the Pratt’s house. Hna Watkins and I took a bunch of silly photos/ did a bunch of silly things right before she left. I think the past three transfers where I was with Hna Noble and then Hna Watkins are probably the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. Transfers was a little hard on me, just because I hate moving and change is always hard. I’m excited for Christmas and I think I’m going to buy a pair of jeans today 😮 Continue reading “Merry Christmas II”
Facebook Stalking
How many transfers are left for both of you? I think Rachel said she was on her last transfer, but that would be almost 8 weeks. Is that right?
I’m going to start my last transfer on Wednesday. It will be 7 weeks long, and I’m getting a new companion. Hna Cottrell. She’s from Utah, and was also trained by Hna Fors. It’s interesting because she’s coming to my area but she’s already served here before.

Merry Christmas Everyone
13.5 hours
Well way to stink it up family, and not even email me. This email is probably going to be a little short because the Elders are huddled around trying to talk to us. I am not going to miss Elders let me tell you what. Anyways, I know I’m the worst email writer ever, but I for reals have no idea what happened this week. Continue reading “13.5 hours”
Zebra Companionships
Life has been pretty good most of our time is spent working at the visitor center for Christmas lights. There were a couple of nights where we didn’t have very many people come which was a little bit frustrating. During Christmas lights we’re always in Zebra companionship’s so, you’re never with your real companion, and there’s always at least one person that speaks Spanish in every companionship. One of the slow nights I was with Sis Mackenzie from Kenya. We got permission from the senior couple to go look around the grounds. It was really neat, because even though it’s my second Christmas here I’ve never really been able to walk around and see the lights and big out door nativities. Last year they did leave the lights on late the last night so we could go out and see them, but it wasn’t the same when I was dead tired and there were only other sister missionaries around.
Two Thanksgiving Dinners
Well family I’m going to be honest. I am still kind of sleepy from my nap, and I can’t remember what happened this week.
I know there was a hello kitty sock miracle. Where I was able to relate to a 13 year-old potential investigator over hello kitty. Continue reading “Two Thanksgiving Dinners”
bikes are slow
I like how dramatic Rebekah is about going home when I have less time left than she does. I’m honestly hoping I can see at least one more baptism before I go home. As soon as Christmas lights starts I’m only going to have around 3 hours in my area every day. The rest of my time is going to be studying, eating, and the visitors center. Hna Watkins is full field so we haven’t been in the visitor center since transfer day but we go back on Thanksgiving the day Christmas Lights start. Continue reading “bikes are slow”
Freezing in AZ
Well, I am pretty sick today. Hna Noble is getting transferred out of the area. I’m getting a full field sister. Hna Watkins her dad is serving as a mission president in San Jose, California. I am also going on bikes for the first time in my mission. I told Elder Nielsen (he’s in charge of cars and bikes) that there was no way I was buying a bike for 2 transfers. I also called him crying and recounted the story of the one day I spent on bikes in Valencia. He told me he’d find me a bike, make sure it fits me, and then teach me how to ride it. This is Halloween
Sorry, I don’t have any time to write now because I spent forever uploading photos. Sis Kranendonk is always really good about taking photos and this is the first pday we’ve had with her this transfer besides the day of zone activity. There’s a picture of almost all the zone in their costumes. I was the mission president’s wife, and Hna Noble was some purple caped villain. She wanted to be a dinosaur but it didn’t really work out.
On Halloween day we had district meeting, then went to help a member make day of the dead bread, and then visited Dulce for a bit. Continue reading “This is Halloween”
how to baptize
Ready for the huge miracle for this week?
I don’t think you’re ready for this.
But I’m going to tell you because I’m running out of computer time.
