My new sector is FREAKING AWESOME!!! But seriously. I arrived here and the first person I talked to we have an appointment with. We have 2 investigators who are planning on getting married and then baptized and we’re hoping on doing it this cambio, we just have to wait for him to propose. He wants to make it super cute for her, but he’s got a reputation for taking his time so we’re trying to push him to hurry up and do it. Their names are Nely and Jonny. We also have a ton of inactive members here. Tolhuaca is a branch, but we have enough members in our boundaries to have a ward we just need to activate them all. JAJA! Wish us luck.
Conference was super great! and guess what. I didn’t sleep this time! JAJA!! But during this conference I received a lot of revelation I wasn’t even looking for. I have a fear of people, and therefore being a missionary where you have to contact and teach tons and tons of people is a little hard. During conference they talked a lot about having faith and strengthening faith and that doing so can help us overcome fears and doubts. I’m really excited to try to focus more on faith and less on fear. Some other things that stood out to me are that we should read the scriptures! and pray fervently and sincerely and that we should be patient with ourselves. All important things. 🙂
Testifying with the spirit is honestly the coolest experience and it’s something that you guys can do, so please testify to your friends and random peoples in the street, because I think you’ll like the results. Keep going and never give up. Never never never.
