First of all it was fun to talk to you all. Sorry I cried like a weenie at the end. In my defense that is the first time on my whole mission I have cried about missing you. Fist pump!
Did you all have a wonderful christmas?
Bek are you excited to go to India?
So let me tell you about the cool Christmas eve miracles. I already told bekah about one of them, but the rest of you didn’t hear it. We got in with two less active families that haven’t let missionaries in for ages. We also had one of them invite us to come back. Then we had one of the best lessons on my mission. We came in to meet this lady Magdalena (we almost skipped out on this appointment because it was made way far in advance, and we had a meeting go way over so we still hadn’t had anything to eat). Her father was there, he had lost mainly all of his mobility and his ability to speak. The only thing he could really do was write. We asked them questions and because we had to wait for his response to be written, there was a lot of time for the spirit to work. After the fist vision hermana Larson asked how they felt. He wrote (in Spanish of course) “I am so grateful you came today, and that you have shared this with us. I feel this is right, and I know it is true what Joseph smith saw.” then after his daughter read that to us, he just gave us the most sincere smile I’ve ever seen. The daughter then prayed and tears were streaming out of both their eyes.
It was an experience and a feeling I will never forget.
This week we were so blessed to find seven new investigators. They all seem like such amazing people, I’m looking forward to working more with each of them, and getting to know them better.
There are millions of geese here, and they are loud. They all flock into moses lake and it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Turtle Ostional (Costa Rica), geese style.
