Help me…

Well, I’m pretty upset and trying not to seriously lose the spirit because I can’t use punctuation with this computer.  Sigh.  No exclamation points, pues.  Me and Hna Ellis are doing good, I’m sending a picture of blanquita and some of the 13 people in her family.  Here’s what you guys can pray for for me:

That I don’t get ingrown toenails.

I have had a terrible fear of the ingrown toenails since I started my mission, and my toenails have always kind of hurt and been swollen around the edges from the walking.  I soak my feet in hot water sometimes and that seems to help, but I’ve been cutting my toenails short the whole time because I hate long toenails, even though they’ve counseled us to grow our toenails longer to help us avoid ingrown toenails.  The other day Hna Stegelmeier told me that the swollen edges is a first sign of ingrown toenails… so I decided I am going to keep growing them out because apparently people get ingrown toenails when their toenails are short and they walk a lot.

Sheesh.

The other pic is a pic of my house.  I don’t know which one because I haven’t read my scriptures yet and I’m too impatient to know which house pic I sent.  So I will repent and read my scriptures.  We had kind of a weird morning because the elders came to machete the weeds in our backyard so they kicked us out of the house early so we already bought our food and stuff.

We are teaching these AMAZING girls who, believe it or not, live in a monk/nun run orphanage.

How does that work question mark because I cant puncuate

Because their friend hermanita Flor brought the elders to give them a blessing one time.  They’re studying in the university together in psychology and anyways, Flor brought the missionaries from her ward and they gave Reina and Roxana blessings and taught them, and the girls LOVED it and wanted to learn more.

The problem is that they have obligatory schedules in order to receive funds for school, to have somewhere to live, etc…

Tyrannical monks.

So we are secretly teaching these sisters for another ward because although they live in our area they can’t go to our ward because they have obligatory mas in the morning so they will be baptized in another ward, but the President’s assistent wants us to teach them instead of the elders because he doesn’t trust the elders with a the  and  year old girls.

They’re amazing.  They’re like, yes we want to get baptized and we were talking about it and we want the elders who first gave us a blessing to baptize us and we want you guys to come because you teach us and they’ve said things like, thank you heavenly father for helping us find happiness and giving us the path we need to go.

I will get a better compu next time and tell you guys more.  We also found a sister in the moment she was praying to find happiness, and we came in and somehow everything that came out of our mouths we kept saying the word happiness… which I normally don’t do so that was awesome…  Her name is Karla.

Please pray for Karla, Reina, Roxana, Giovani, Evelyn… Luis…

Love,
Bek
