beeep… beep… beep… baaaaaaaaaaaah.
I occasionally get really stressed when I think about how soon I’m going home. I wouldn’t say I freak out, but I feel like my blood pressure goes up to about 5000… and then I’m like, yeah, whatever, I still have time… I think…
For Mom’s question, I would really appreciate it if you would fast for Ana Briceno. I didn’t tell you all because I didn’t want to… but she told me she doesn’t believe in the Book of Mormon anymore. And that she wasn’t gonna go to church anymore. But I guess Sister Davis talked with her the other day and she said she had no problem with going to church she just wanted the answer to a question… So I guess she’s softened up a lot since the last time I talked with her with Sis Villatoro, because she was bien duro… (real hard) the last time I talked with her but it sounds like she’s opening up…
It seems like ALL converts have an inactive period for some time after they get baptized… at least that’s what I seem to see in the life of all the people I’ve talked to who are converts…
It makes sense. It’s hard to change. The good thing is that usually they all end up coming back after a while. 🙂 And that’s what gives me hope for some of my converts who are going wayward…
We have no end of investigator problems. We’ve been doing everything to find find find… and Olga still hasn’t accepted a baptismal date. Sandra Perez dropped us because she fell into apostasy… which makes me really really sad, but I saw it coming… And really… we’re just working with Olga and Sonia now… plus some kidos who didn’t get baptized when they were 8. Aw, parents. Poor kids.
Sister Lopez says she’s gained weight since she’s gotten here…
It’s not my fault I swear…
I’m not gonna say how much weight I’ve gained since I started…
Love,
Bek
