Palm Reading

Well, I’m gonna try and send a couple pictures and write fast, because I keep accidentally… taking way too long to do email.  We only do forty-five minutes supposedly, but all the missionaries do it longer, and so… that makes it harder to have self-control when other people are taking too long.
I wish I knew where the pictures on the dvd I sent stopped, because my memory card is full again!  And it takes a really long time to copy pictures and I forgot my thumb drive again…

Anyways.  WE HAVE A BAPTISMAL DATE!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  it was kind of a huge surprise because we just stopped to visit this sister that Hna Marquez hasn’t taught for like a month because she just had a baby and was sick, etc.  But I asked if she’d be baptized and she said… YES!?  She read and prayed the whole time that Hna Marquez couldn’t come visit and feels like she has an answer!! Yaya Dayana!!!  (She’s the wife of an inactive member, so we’re going to have to work with her husband).  We’re so happy!

We had a really interesting lesson the other night too.  We did an EVERYONE-prays-circle (behold the wrath of Hna Holladay) and we’re like, ask specifically, like we’re always telling you guys… and they all prayed… and they all prayed specifically.  This has only happened one time before, so I’m kind of really scared for these people… because they all got their answer in that prayer.  They couldn’t deny that they felt the spirit.  The mom was like sobbing, and then we sat down and I was like, for the fifth time, “Will you follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized the 28th of April?”

And she said… No.

WHAT!??  Are you KIDDING me!??  I don’t understand why.  I think it’s fear, but eventually they said they would prepare for the date.

So please pray for Dayana, this family (Edith, Ronnie, and Abigail), and Walter, and Adan (father of our ward mission leader).  Oh yeah, Ever too.  He went to church yesterday 🙂

Love,
Bek
