New Investigator

We finally found a new investigator! I’ve gotta admit that really makes me excited. I’m making a new minor goal of trying to be super excited everytime something like that happens even if it becomes a normal thing. (Ojala que si) I’m not sure if he will progress much, but we’ll work hard to see that he gets every chance he can to do just that. His name is Ruben and he’s about 60 he loves the bible and he’s a recovered Alcohol addict.

Also, Hna. Horton and I have learned a whole lot in this cambio and I’m going to work hard to apply everything I’ve been learning throughout my mission cuz I figure that if I can do that I might be able to help some more people over the next 2 cambios.
So, Martin didn’t get baptized on Wednesday. Wednesday morning I think I had the second worst appointment of my life, in the which Martín’s parents dropped us hard and said that he would be going to the Evangelical church with his mom. It was pretty dang rough and Hna. Horton and I were crying (During the appointment as well as after). Martín gave the closing prayer before we left and he was crying hard by the end of it. Then when we got home he sent us an 11 text long message. It basically said that he is going to keep following all of the teachings we gave him (Which was all of the required mission lessons) and that he would get baptized but that it would have to wait because his parents weren’t allowing it. He then said that he would be a missionary within his own family and would bring them with him to the church no matter how long it will take. I truly believe that he will do it cuz he is an amazing kid and he has a stronger testimony than anybody I know.
I would be super grateful if you guys would pray for Martín, Rubén, Emilia, Claudia and Jorge, and Jobita and Francisco. Love you all tons!
